The Little Red Sports Car God will generously provide all you need. Then you will always have everything you need and plenty left over to share with others. —2 Corinthians 9:8
At our house when a teenager started to drive, he or she had to drive a beat-up old car so we didn’t have to pay so much insurance. Our youngest daughter didn’t want to drive the old beater. She wanted to drive the little red sports car. So she got a job and paid the insurance. She loved driving that car. Then the church she loved outgrew their building. The leaders asked the members to give sacrificially so the church could enlarge. One day, my daughter came to me in tears and placed the keys to the sports car in my hand. “I think we need a bigger church more than I need to drive the sports car.” She pledged a thousand dollars besides her regular tithe. Between the insurance amount and working as a waitress after school, she paid the pledge before she went to college. Someday if she wants a red sports car, I think God will make sure she gets one.
