Easy to Pray for May your Kingdom come soon. May your will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. —Matthew 6:10
I tried to pray, but the words got stuck in my throat. The tears fell, but I finally got the words out. “Lord, you know that person has hurt someone I love! How can I pray a blessing? Help me to pray and love!” Do you have people on your prayer list who are easy to pray for? You love them so much that the prayers flow from your mouth to God’s ears with ease. You pray for their health, spirit, family, specific needs, and everything that concerns them. Because you love them so deeply, words come easily. Then there are others whom you struggle to pray for. It is hard. The prayer doesn’t come easily. You find you don’t really want to pray for them, but pray you must. Why? Because prayer is the key to loving people. You can’t continue to pray and not love. Pray and then pray some more! Then leave the results to God.
Love helps those that are hard to pray for turn into people who are easy to pray for. — Donna Collins Tinsley —
